2020 NAMI Connection Support Group Facilitator Training

The 2020 NAMI Missouri Connection Support Group Facilitator Training will be held August 8-9, 2020 in Jefferson City. Details to follow. 


2019 NAMI Connection Support Group Facilitator Training

The NAMI Missouri Connection Support Group Facilitator Training was held August 9 – 11, 2019 in Jefferson City.

Start Date: Friday, August 9, 2019 at 9:00 am
End Date: Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 3:00 pm
Location: Best Western Plus Capital Inn, 1937 Christy Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65101
Application Deadline: July 25, 2019

About the Training: This training is for individuals living with mental illness who would like to become certified to facilitate NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups. The training is provided at no cost with expenses covered using a grant issued by the US Department of Health and Human Services through SAMHSA. The training is limited to 18 participants and runs the equivalent of 17.5 clock hours or 21 contact hours.

About Connection Recovery Support Groups: NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups are free, peer-led support groups for adults living with mental illness. Participants gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators in pairs of two. Support Group Facilitator resources – For support group facilitators only

Please report your support group data by following these instructions:
  • Visit nami.force.com/namiuserportal and log in using your NAMI username and password.
  • From the main menu of the User Portal, click Report Program Data.
  • Click the down arrow next to the listing you wish to report data for and click Report Program Data.
  • Click on the arrows to the far right. Choose the program you wish to report data for from the drop-down list.
  • Complete the form and click “Save.”

If you do not know your username and password, visit https://nami.force.com/namiuserportal/login, and select “Forgot Your Password?” (or click “Forgot Your Password” on this page) to send a re-set link to your email.

If your NAMI Salesforce User Portal shows no access to data reporting, please email info@namimissouri.org. In the meantime, you may report your data directly to NAMI Missouri using the form located here. Additional information is available on the NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group Facilitator Password Protected page.
