Now hiring: Consumer support phone operator
The Missouri chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Missouri), a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization, is seeking several part-time WARMline phone responders. WARMline is a peer-operated and directed consumer support service, based in Jefferson City. This paid position is grant funded and responders must be consumers of mental health services. Responders will receive training and data entry instruction prior to assisting callers. Primary duties include answering calls from individuals with mental illness to assist in providing friendly, non-judgmental support, encouraging recovery-based activities, and directing callers to other resources, as necessary. Responders must also take notes and complete call logs after each call.
