Now Hiring: Consumer Support Phone Operator
NAMI Missouri is seeking a WARMline phone responder. The position has the option to be part time or full time, and also includes opportunities for advancement to a management/ supervisor-level position. WARMline is a peer-operated and directed consumer support service, based in Jefferson City. Responders must have personal experience dealing with a mental illness and mental health services. Responders will receive training and data entry instruction prior to assisting callers. Primary duties include answering calls from individuals with mental illness to assist in providing friendly, non-judgmental support/ encouragement, directing callers to other resources when necessary, and completing call logs for reporting purposes. This is a part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours per week) with flexibility in scheduling and additional hours and responsibilities available after initial probationary period.
