NAMI Smarts for Advocacy is a hands-on advocacy training program that helps people with mental illness, friends and family transform their passion and lived experience into grassroots advocacy. NAMI Smarts for Advocacy is designed as a series of seven modules that can be presented individually or together.

This virtual presentation will cover Module 2 of the NAMI Smarts curriculum, which is all about communication. The goal is to demonstrate and teach participants how to effectively communicate with policymakers by phone, mail and email.
