Ending the Silence is NAMI’s new in-school presentation program. We are now recruiting youth presenters age 18-30, who are living well with a mental illness or mental health disorder and lead presenters 18+ who are either living with a mental illness or who have a family member living with a mental illness.

The 2020 NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator Training will be held Friday, September 18 - Sunday, September 20, 2020 using Zoom Video Conferencing.

About the Training: This training is for friends and family members of individuals living with mental illness who would like to become certified to facilitate NAMI Family Support Groups. The training is provided at no cost with expenses covered through a contract with the Missouri Department of Mental Health. The training is limited to 6 participants.
About Family Support Groups: NAMI Family Support Groups are free, peer-led support groups for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Participants gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances, and the groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators in pairs of two.
